GUARDIOLA APOLOGISE FOR FERNANDIHO BEHAVIOR

Manchester City pep Guardiola has tendered an apology over Manchester City's players behavior in the final minutes of City's Saturday fixture against Chelsea.

Chelsea came back to from a goal down to put Manchester City in an uncomfortable position as they were being thrashed 1-3 towards the final minutes. Sergio Aguero was sent off for a rash tackle on David Luiz which sparked a fight from City players with Fernandinho also seen red for pushing Fabregas by the neck to the stadium wall.

However, Manchester City manager has come out to apologise in a post-match statement for his players behavior,, although stating that Aguero's foul was not intentional.

"It is a pity the game finished like this,"
Guardiola told the BBC. "I don't like that
and I apologise for what happened.

"I don't think Aguero's challenge is
intentional. Both players were strong, that
is all. Then Fernandinho went over to
defend his team mate."

Midfielder Fernandinho is now suspended for three matches and Aguero faces a possible four-match ban.

"We didn't win because we missed a lot of
chances, not because of the referee's
decisions,"

"In the boxes we are not strong enough. It
is a problem we have had all season. It is
difficult for us to score goals and we
concede them very easily."
