Reports emerged to the media on Thursday by El Confidencial claiming that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been avoiding tax by using a process known as "tax-dumping".
The reports claim that the footy star avoided to be registered in Spain and chose to work with a Republic of Ireland based company for his commercial deals.
However, Gestifute, a company owned by Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes released a press statement denying the allegations against Ronaldo. The company declared that Ronaldo has not been involved in any legal procedure to rwglate the commission of any tax offence.
Gestifute also. Warned that they will not hesitate to take any of such accusations to court.
