BALE'S INJURY WORSEN

Gareth Bale is set to remain on the sidelines for  a longer period of time following updates on his injury.

A report on the surgery revealed that the damage done to his ankle is worse than believed before  and it is now certain that the winger will Real Madrid's next 14 games and also the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Should he not recover early, the Welsh man will also miss Wales world Cup qualifying match against Republic of Ireland.
