THIS NIGERIAN PLAYER WAS CALLED "MONKEY BY AN ARSENAL TULA PLAYER

Amkar Perm midfielder Fegor Ogude has
revealed that he was racially abused during the Russian PremierLeague match with Arsenal Tula. The player said he did not realize due to the language barrier.

Ogude claimed it was After the game that Guinea international Sékou Condé revealed to him that Dmitry Aydov used racist language
towards himself and Ogude, and he called
the Nigerian “monkey” and “black”.

“It is something they said in Russian. I did
not realize it, because I do not know the
language, ” Ogude said to life.ru.

“But after the game, the guys from the
team told me that he insulted me using
racist language. I believe them. Football is
an emotional game, but very silly to call
the opponent a monkey.”

Dimitry Aydov has denied that he called
Ogude a monkey, saying that the story
was invented by Conde.
General Director of Amkar Perm Igor
Rezvuhin says the club will not formally
report the incident to the authorities.
