ATALANTA CAN EMULATE LEICESTER AND WIN THE SCUDETTO - LIPPI

Marcello Lippi says he believes Atalanta can emulate Claudio Rieneri's Leicester City and win the Scudetto this season as the Italian side have what it takes even though it will be difficult.

Ranieri’s won the league with Leicester City last season to the Amazement of everyone and Lippi believes Atalanta can do the English sides' style by defying all odds.

When asked if Atalanta can win the Serie A title,  Lippi replied “why not”

“Atalanta’s form is giving me great enthusiasm
and satisfaction because I’m very close to their
President Percassi and Coach Gasperini,”
the China boss told Radio Anch’io Lo Sport.

“In Bergamo, there’s a family atmosphere and a lot of expertise.

“Can Atalanta do another Leicester? Of course
it’ll be very difficult, but why not? These things
happen, we’ll see how it goes in Germany,
where the top of the table belongs to Leipzig.

“Milan? I liked them last season and I like them now. I can see their desire to build a team with so many Italians and a great sense of belonging, full of very interesting young players. There’s then the happy and creative hand of Montella.

“Lapadula? He can become a starter for Milan in place of Bacca or perhaps rotating with the
Colombian.”
