Leeds United to be sold

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has
reportedly shelved plans to sell the club, in turn
halting his interest in Brescia.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Cellino does not
believe the consortium headed by Italian
businessman Andrea Radrizzani, who was
involved in Suning Group’s takeover of Inter, are
big enough to take Leeds forward.

Cellino sold Cagliari to bankroll his purchase of
Leeds in 2014 and recently absorbed 100
percent of the club’s shares after he struck a
deal to buy the remaining 25% from Arab
investment bank GFH.
