Cittadella thrash Verona 5-1

Serie B leaders Verona suffered a second consecutive humiliating defeat after falling 5-1
to Cittadella.

Hellas had seemed unstoppable, but they are
going into freefall after a 4-0 home loss to Novara and this evening’s thrashing at promotion-chasing Cittadella. It’s all the more surprising considering
Giampaolo Pazzini, ever more alone as Capocannoniere, had given Verona the lead in
the opening minute.
