Yaya Toure finally apologises to club for misunderstandings

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has officially tendered an apology to the club. The player has
apologized on behalf of his agent Dimitri Seluk for his controversial statement against City boss Pep Guardiola.
Ever since Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk verbally attacked Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola saying the Spaniard has "humiliated" the player, Guardiola has been omitting Toure from the squad. Guardiola insists Seluk must apologize for his words before anything can be done about the Ivorian's case. However, Yaya Toure has come out to apologize, also on behalf of his agent. He published a statement on Facebook.

Toure said: “I wish to apologise – on behalf of myself and those who represent me – to the management team and all those working at the club for the misunderstandings from the past.

“Those statements do not represent my views on the club or the people who work there.

“I have nothing but respect for Manchester City and only wish the best for the football club.
