Victor Moses who was absent against Zambia has gained great form playing as a wing back in the Italian's new 3 - 4 - 3 strategy. However, Gernot Rohr has warned his team cannot play the way Chelsea do and therefore there's not going to be a wing back role for Victor Moses.

Speaking to owngoalnigeria, the coach said:

” We don’t play the Chelsea way, against
Algeria we won’t play like Chelsea, so we might
necessarily not need a wing back. On the flanks
we have Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Alex
Iwobi, Victor Moses is part of them” He said.

“The idea is to put out the best team with the
best formation for the Algeria game, although
we intend to maintain most of the players who
started the game against Zambia. We will build
from there”.
