Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has finally opened up about Mikel John Obi. The Italian boss has said
he has no problem with the player even though he has not featured in any match under him.
Mikel John Obi is yet to feature for the blues since the Italian boss took over at Stamford Bridge. With regards to his current situation, Conte has insisted there are no negative thoughts about Mikel.
He said:
“It’s normal in every squad, there are players that arrive at the end of their contract and then together with the club take a decision.”

“For me the most important thing is that Mikel is working very well now, because in the past he had some injuries. Now he is working very hard and I’m pleased with his work-rate.”
The 29-year-old is into his 11th season with Chelsea.
