Both defenders were injured in the club's champions league match against Manchester City. Gerard Piquepicked up an ankle injury and on the other hand, Joldi Alba had hamstring problem.
Expectations of seen the players in the weekend fixture have been dampened as both players are yet to regain fitness. It is now expected of Head coach Luis Enrque to bring in other options.
