Facts - Pedro's form too bad for Willian

Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has enjoyed good playing time under manager Antonio Conte. The Spaniard has started in Chelsea's last three
League games. Pedro who according to reports tried to negotiate a move back to his former club Barcelona has been in great form for Chelsea. However, this may seem to be a good advantage for Chelsea considering the super fast player's athletism can break lots of defense line just as he did against Manchester United, scoring in just 30 seconds of the game. Also against Southampton and Everton respectively. Although things appear to look settled for both Chelsea and the former Barcelona man at moment, but the same cannot be said of Chelsea's "best player" last season; Willian.

Is willian running out of favour?

The Brazilian who seemed to be Chelsea's savior last season. Even though it appeared Chelsea players [form] were the reason behind Jose Morinho's sack. Also following the appointment of Guus Hiddink as manager after Morinho left, Willian's performance were more to talk about. He was voted as Chelsea's best player of the season following his wonderful performance for the blues. However this season, the Winger has been retired a little bit more to the bench. Although it could be said that the player had to take two weeks of to mourn his mother. But following Antonio Conte's introduction of a 3- 4 -3 formation and Pedro's incredible run of form, Willian's place in the starting has come under serious threat, as he will have to shake off both Pedro and and Conte's new strategy.

Following his return, Willian did get some minutes gainst Southampton. He played well but following Chelsea's hard run under the manager's new strategy with Pedro on the flank, even though as it may seem that the manager is only trying to explore his new found formation, Willian looks rather unfavored as Pedro's current form keeps dropping the Brazilian back to the bench at Chelsea.
