With the ongoing debate about bitterness between Cristiano Ronaldo and and Barcelona star Lionel Messi, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about his relationship with Barcelona ace Lionel Messi. The footy star made it known that he is not close to Argentine ace and has stated further that no
rivalry exists between them as people might think considering their status in football rather great mutual respect lies between even though they are not good friends.


"There is a big mutual respect between
myself and Messi," the 31-year-old told
Coach Magazine. "The media like to make
out like we have this big rivalry, but we
don't.
"It is not like we are good friends, but there
is a mutual respect on both sides." He said.
